Good to know
- OXO publishes no per-method numbers beyond 'fine for espresso to coarse for French press', and no burr travel figure.
- The two-micro-settings-per-number layout (43 positions) comes from Honest Coffee Guide's chart axis (ticks 1, 1.1, 1.2, 2 ...). OXO only says '15 settings plus micro-settings'. Check against a real unit before relying on the position conversion.
- Honest Coffee Guide's per-grinder charts look like a straight-line map of its generic method micron ranges onto the grinder's 195-1100 µm span, so the ranges are wide and overlap. They are not measurements on this grinder.
- zero_offset_um 195 is the finest end of Honest Coffee Guide's range. Treat as an estimate.
- Not a real espresso grinder: reviewers say the steps are too coarse at the fine end to dial in an unpressurised basket. espresso_capable is false even though the chart has an espresso row.
- The Honest Coffee Guide page did not render its table when fetched; values came from search-result extracts of that page. Re-check them against the live page.
- Hopper holds about 12 oz (340 g) per retailer listings. Motor, weight and dimensions were not confirmed from OXO.
- OXO also sells a newer 'Brew Coffee Grinder' with a different setting count. This file is the 15-setting 8717000 model only.
- No Canadian retail price found; cad_price is null.
