Good to know
- Hario does not publish microns per notch, and no reliable community measurement was found. microns_per_step is left null; use the method settings.
- Honest Coffee Guide's chart spans 350-1400 um over 9 notches (about 115 um per notch). Other reviews count clicks differently (e.g. V60 at 5-6 clicks) because they start from a different zero. Find zero with an empty hopper first.
- Steps are coarse for espresso; reviewers say it cannot be dialed in properly.
- Capacity conflict: Hario UK and Coffee Parts list 100 g; Prima Coffee lists a 60 g bean hopper and 100 g grounds bin.
- zero_offset_um uses the bottom of Honest Coffee Guide's range.
