Good to know

  • Not for espresso, moka pot or Turkish. Fellow says espresso needs under 200 µm and the Ode cannot get there.
  • zero_offset_um 250 is Fellow's claim for how fine the Gen 2 Brew Burrs can grind. It is a marketing figure, not a measured particle size at setting 1. Treat as an estimate.
  • Fellow does not publish burr travel per click. burr_travel_um_per_step is left null.
  • Fellow's chart also lists 1-3 for the Prismo AeroPress attachment, 6-7 for cupping and 7-9 for electric drip machines. None of those map to a method id here.
  • Adjust the dial with the motor running when going finer. Adjusting finer while stopped can bind the burrs on leftover grounds.
  • Retention 0.1 g is Fellow's 'as low as' figure with the anti-static system clean. Fellow says retention rises after about 60 grinds until the chute is brushed out.
  • The SSP MP burr option grinds differently, so these settings apply to the stock Gen 2 Brew Burrs only.
  • Motor rpm is not published on Fellow's spec list.
