How to read the dial
Dial numbers counted from the burr-touching zero, written as rotations + number in Honest Coffee Guide's charts, e.g. 1+4 = one full turn plus number 4. Here that is stored as one number: rotations x 6 + dial number, so 1+4 = 10. Any value in between is valid because the dial is stepless.
Zero: burrs touching (user-calibrated). Turn finer with the motor running until the burrs just touch, then count from there.

Good to know
- Stepless: the dial has printed numbers but no clicks. range and settings are in dial numbers from zero; decimals are fine.
- Settings come from Honest Coffee Guide's Silenzio page. HCG's Specialità page uses an identical chart scale (195-1400 µm, rotations from zero, same ticks) but its table did not render when fetched. Confirm against the live Specialità page before shipping.
- The '6 numbers per rotation' conversion follows Honest Coffee Guide's chart ticks (0-5.5 then 1+0). Check it against the physical dial.
- Honest Coffee Guide's ranges are wide straight-line estimates, not measurements on this grinder. The Specialità is mainly an espresso grinder; most owners stay within the first rotation.
- zero_offset_um 195 is the finest end of Honest Coffee Guide's range. Treat as an estimate.
- Eureka does not publish burr travel per division. One blog quotes about 25 µm per step, but it is unsourced and the dial is stepless, so it is not used.
- Motor: 260 W is the US 110 V figure (Majesty Coffee, Walmart listings); EU listings say 310 W. 1350 rpm is the common retailer figure.
- Hopper about 300 g per retailer listings. Weight and dimensions not confirmed from Eureka.
- Zero drifts after burr cleaning or replacement. Re-find burr touch and count again.
