Macro number + micro letter, e.g. 8E. Settings here use the macro number only; start micro at E.

Stepless micro ring with 9 marks (A-I) for fine-tuning between macro steps. Baratza markets this as 270 settings.

Good to know
- microns_per_step estimated as (950 - 230) / 30 from Honest Coffee Guide's 230-950 µm range, per macro step. Not a measured burr-gap figure.
- zero_offset_um is Honest Coffee Guide's finest particle size (230 µm). Treat as an estimate.
- Coarse end tops out around 950 µm, so French press and cold brew sit at the very top of the dial.
- Grind can drift coarser at the finest settings after the first few pounds; Baratza says to add the included shim.
- Manual lists a drip-brew range of 15-25; there is no matching brew guide id.
- Adjust with the motor running. Weight is not listed on Baratza's US product page.
