How to read the dial
R.N.C. 1 rotation = 10 numbers = 100 clicks; 1 number = 10 clicks. Total clicks = R x 100 + N x 10 + C. Example: 1.2.3 = 100 + 20 + 3 = 123 clicks. 1Zpresso also writes rotation.number, e.g. 2.4 = 240 clicks.
Zero: burrs touching (handle starts to spin with resistance)

Good to know
- Built for espresso. 8 µm clicks make filter settings very high click counts (V60 lands around 1.6-2.8 rotations).
- Max of 500 clicks (5 rotations) per 1Zpresso manual as quoted by reviewers; Sigma Coffee's review counts 450. Verify on the unit.
- 1Zpresso says the zero point can shift two or more clicks depending on how hard the dial is turned; recalibrate after cleaning if 0 no longer lines up.
- Complete Home Barista gives the same espresso range (0.7.4-1.5.4), which supports the Honest Coffee Guide numbers.
